What to know before you book.

Niseko is 100 km south of Sapporo and the only realistic way in is via New Chitose Airport (CTS), then a 2.5 to 3 hour bus or private transfer. The Park Hyatt shuttle is free for Globalists and costs roughly 12,650 yen each way for others. Peak Niseko ski season runs late December through February (Australian school holidays through Chinese New Year) and Park Hyatt nights move into the top bands during that window. Mountain Lights, an outdoor light artwork installation by Bruce Munro, runs at the Park Hyatt from July through October 2026 for summer travel.
